The authoritative gaming magazine EDGE summed up the results of 2024, publishing its own top of the best games. The most highly rated project was Astro Bot, also mentioned were such releases as Frostpunk 2, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

- Best VR Game — Vendetta Forever;
- Best DLC — Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
- Best Visual Design — Neva;
- Best Audio Design — Star Wars: Outlaws;
- Best Narrative Design — The Rise of the Golden Idol;
- Best Acting — Alec Newman in Still Wakes the Deep;
- Best Studio of the Year — Asobi.
Also among the winners are S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, which took third place in the list of the best games for Xbox, Batman: Arkham Shadow with a silver medal as the best VR project and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 with second place for visual design.
Towards the end of December, PlayStation gamers chose the best games, characters and studios of the outgoing year. In turn, Metacritic presented a list of the worst projects of 2024. And Eurogamer chose the most important games for PlayStation.
