As a reminder, Tyshawn Jones became one of the new playable skaters in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2.
Last year, it was reported that Activision decided to scrap the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake so that Vicarious Visions could focus on content for the Call of Duty series. Perhaps something has changed in recent months.
