In a recent interview, Keanu Reeves was asked again whether he intends to return to the role of John Wick in the next film, if there is one. The actor decided to give a clear and direct answer as to why he will not appear in the familiar image again.

Speaking to GameRadar, Keanu Reeves reminded journalists about the ending of the fourth film. Although death on screen does not always lead to farewell to beloved characters, the actor is confident that his mercenary has completed his story.

Well, you know the character's dead. He died in John Wick: Chapter 4. I know [it's] Hollywood ... but right now there isn't.

However, another appearance of "Baba Yaga" will take place in "Ballerina" with Ana de Armas. The events of the spin-off unfold between the third and fourth films of the franchise, so the famous mercenary will appear on screens again as a cameo. By the way, a new teaser for the film was shown at the Oscars 2025 ceremony.

Recall that earlier Keanu Reeves announced the start of work on a full-fledged script for Constantine 2. DC Studios got acquainted with the draft and gave the green light for the production of the sequel.
