Tencent Games and its Polaris Quest studio have announced Light of Motiram, an online survival action game featuring mechanical animals. The game has already been dubbed a Horizon clone, with players pointing out striking similarities in creature design, gameplay mechanics, and, based on the official website, even the sound design and UI style.
Set in a world recovering from a mysterious catastrophe that pushed humanity back to its primitive roots, Light of Motiram challenges players to hunt massive mechanical beasts, gather resources, build settlements, and survive in a harsh environment.
Sony has yet to comment on the announcement of Light of Motiram, though it's worth noting that the company is actively developing a multiplayer spinoff for the Horizon franchise.
Light of Motiram already has pages on Steam and the Epic Games Store, though no release date has been announced yet.
