Alkimia Interactive studio presented the first chapter of the documentary about the development of Gothic 1 Remake. Fans were shown the updated Valley of Mines, recognizable characters and even some iconic moments from the original.
According to the developers, they sought to preserve the spirit of Gothic 2001, in which the player could go anywhere and do anything. In the remake, the motto was reflected in the freedom of movement — the Nameless Hero learned to climb rocks and dive. Alkimia Interactive also showed several new excerpts from the game in the video, including the first meeting with Diego and the ritual of the Brotherhood of the Sleeper:
Recall that the release of Gothic 1 Remake is scheduled for this year for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
