Actors Jack Black and Jason Momoa, who star in the movie A Minecraft Movie, recently shared their gaming experiences in an interview, highlighting the projects that left a lasting impression on them.
Jack Black revealed that during the pandemic, he was "consumed" by Red Dead Redemption 2, spending 400 hours in the game. He expressed his enthusiasm for the project, noting that it became more than just entertainment—it was a way of life for him.
It was over pandemic times. I played Red Dead Redemption Part Two, and I lived in it. It was not a game. It was like a way of life. I got 400 hours clocked, and it was a lot, and I don’t regret any of it. It was so fun. It’s beautiful out there, it’s an incredible universe they created.
Jason Momoa, on the other hand, admitted he had never heard of the game, which surprised Black. Black strongly recommended Momoa try Red Dead Redemption 2, but Momoa, aware of his tendency for addiction, stated he prefers to avoid such games.
Dude, you never heard of Rockstar Games? These guys are the artists. You have to play it, it’ll change your life. If you play one game, that’s the one.
Momoa shared that in his childhood, he often played Street Fighter, with Ryu and Blanka being his favorite characters.
As for A Minecraft Movie, it is set to premiere on April 4th this year with a budget of $150 million. You can watch the final trailer here.
