Congalala is a hybrid of a baboon and a hippopotamus with pink fur and a massive body, residing in the Scarlet Forest and Wyverian Ruins. Its main feature is a large tail, which it uses for attacks and carrying mushrooms. The monster eats mushrooms, after which it performs various gas attacks, the effect of which depends on the type of mushroom consumed.

- Poisonous gas: Congalala emits a cloud of poisonous gas that inflicts a poisoning effect.
- Paralyzing gas: The giant releases gas that can paralyze the hunter.
