Nixxes Software continues to patch the PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The second major update fixed the error on AMD cards and a number of other annoying and not so annoying bugs.

The developers found the root cause of driver crashes on AMD video cards. As a result of joint checks with the manufacturer, it turned out that the problems were caused by the Anti-Lag 2 SDK technology. It had to be temporarily disabled until AMD releases a corrective update for the drivers.

Other significant fixes contained in the game version 1.212.1.0:

  • fixed a crash in Mysterio's final mission caused by the Bodega Cat Suit;
  • improved mouse sensitivity and reflections in the game;
  • characters' eyes no longer turn black and flicker;
  • Nintendo Switch Pro controllers can now be used with Steam Input;
  • NVIDIA DLSS ray tracing is now available in native resolution with Ultra Performance scaling;
  • Fixed a bug in the tutorial where the player would fall below the level in the wind tunnel;
  • Some interface bugs and a number of visual errors have been fixed.

Recall that Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was released on PC on January 30 and has received a whole bunch of negative reviews from players. The users' complaints were mainly about optimization — the port to PC turned out to be "raw".

Earlier, the game received two more patches that brought a number of improvements. The first 18+ mod, "undressing" Mary Jane, was also released.
