New Movie Skins from the Film Mortal Kombat 2 in Mortal Kombat 1 — First Screenshots Revealed

Recently, images from the movie Mortal Kombat 2 surfaced online, showcasing Kitana, Shao Kahn, Scorpion, and Johnny Cage. Following this, new screenshots from the fighting game Mortal Kombat 1 were released, featuring new skins for these characters.

These skins have been recreated from the upcoming movie. According to Ed Boon, the creative director of NetherRealm Studios, they will be added to the game later this year. However, the exact dates have not been disclosed yet.

As a reminder, the movie Mortal Kombat 2 is set to release on October 24th this year. The film is directed by Simon McQuoid, who also directed the 2021 adaptation.

As for Mortal Kombat 1, the game will soon receive the DLC character T-1000 from the movie Terminator 2 on March 18th.
