Assassin's Creed Shadows: An Unpayable Debt Walkthrough

"An Unpayable Debt" is the sixth main mission in Assassin's Creed Shadows. You continue to play as Naoe. In this material, we have prepared a detailed walkthrough of the quest and explained how to complete it.

Exit the house onto the dirt road. Naoe collapses from exhaustion, triggering a cutscene. After this, the scene transitions to the next mission — "Alarm Bell". Once you complete it, you will return to completing "An Unpayable Debt".

After completing "Alarm Bell", leave the house and follow Jūnjirō east along the path. He will lead you to the Makinoodera Temple. Crouch and sneak up to the tanuki until a prompt appears. Hold the button and continue approaching until the indicator fills up. Go with him to the temple. Talk to Jūnjirō. He will sit inside the temple. Approach and sit next to him to start a conversation.

When you regain control of the character, move east along the same path Jūnjirō led you. Now the world map will open for you. Continue going east of the temple, pass through the gate to the bamboo thickets. Enter them and start attacking until the gauge fills up.
