Jared Leto to Play Main Villain in New Masters of the Universe Movie

Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Jared Leto will star in the upcoming Masters of the Universe film. He will take on the role of Skeletor, the arch-nemesis of He-Man and King Randor.
The film will be directed by Travis Knight, known for Bumblebee. Nicholas Galitzine will play the lead role of He-Man.
Here are other characters from the movie and the actors who will portray them:
- Trap Jaw — Sam C. Wilson;
- Goat Man — Hafthor Bjornsson;
- Tri-Klops — Kojo Attah;
- Evil-Lyn — Alison Brie;
- Man-At-Arms — Idris Elba;
- Teela — Camila Mendes.
The Masters of the Universe franchise is based on the popular Mattel toy line. In 1987, an adaptation starring Dolph Lundgren was released, but it received only a 5.4 rating on IMDb and grossed $17.3 million against a $22 million budget.
The new adaptation is scheduled to be released in June 2026.
