Netflix has officially released The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, an animated film running 90 minutes. The movie adapts Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Little Sacrifice, following Geralt as he uncovers a tragic love story between King Agloval and the water nymph Sh'eenaz, while also crossing paths with the bard Essi Daven.
Set within the timeline of The Witcher's first season, the anime features characters resembling their live-action counterparts. However, Geralt is not voiced by Henry Cavill but by Doug Cockle, the iconic voice actor from CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher games.
As for the show's fourth season, it is expected to arrive in 2025. Meanwhile, showrunner Lauren Hissrich has hinted at developing additional projects within The Witcher universe.
