German brand be quiet!, known for its silent PC solutions, has unveiled five new CPU coolers in the Pure Rock 3 series. The lineup includes both single- and dual-tower models, designed to meet the needs of gamers, enthusiasts, and compact system owners. The main highlights are exceptional heat dissipation of up to 250W, advanced lighting systems, and ultra-quiet operation.
For the first time in the Pure Rock series, be quiet! has introduced dual-tower coolers capable of handling thermal loads of up to 250W. The three Pro versions — Silver, Black, and LX — differ in design and features. The Silver and Black models are equipped with dual 120mm Pure Wings 3 fans with aerodynamic nozzles to enhance airflow. Meanwhile, the LX version stands out with its Light Wings LX fans featuring ARGB lighting, which can be synchronized with motherboard software.
Engineers paid close attention to details: the asymmetrical design prevents conflicts with tall RAM modules, while the offset AM5 socket mounting ensures precise positioning over AMD CPUs' hot spots. To maximize efficiency, the Pro models are compatible with liquid metal thermal compounds, and noise levels remain under 34.8 dB even under peak load — quieter than a human whisper.
For systems with limited space, be quiet! has introduced single-tower coolers with heat dissipation of up to 190W. Both versions — Black and LX — feature four heat pipes with Direct Touch (HDT) technology but differ in fan configurations. The Black model is equipped with Pure Wings 3 fans optimized for static pressure, while the LX version balances performance with dynamic ARGB lighting using Light Wings fans. Noise levels are even lower, reaching just 31.2 dB, making them ideal for silent builds.
All new models come with pre-installed mounting brackets for easy installation and are compatible with modern platforms, including AM5. Despite their compact size, the coolers do not obstruct access to PCIe slots or VRM heatsinks. The new lineup is set to go on sale on March 11 with a three-year warranty. Pricing details have not yet been disclosed and will be revealed closer to the launch date.
