Bloomberg has spoken with analysts about expectations for the Nintendo Switch 2, which is rumored to launch in June. Here’s what experts are saying:

Investors anticipate that the Switch 2 will be the biggest console launch in gaming history. The original Switch is currently the third best-selling console of all time;
The device is expected to sell rapidly regardless of price—fans are eager for new Nintendo hardware;
The Switch 2 could be Nintendo’s most expensive console yet, with an estimated price of $400 or more;
At launch, the console will reportedly have a strong lineup, including new Mario Kart, Pokémon, and Metroid titles, along with third-party projects;
Nintendo is expected to manufacture 6–8 million units for launch—a massive stockpile. For comparison, the original Switch sold 2.7 million units in its first month.
