God of War: Ragnarok Will Get a Free Update With New Skins for Kratos and Atreus

Santa Monica Studio has finally made an announcement in honor of the 20th anniversary of the God of War series, but not the one that everyone expected. On the anniversary date, God of War: Ragnarok will feature new character skins inspired by the skin from the classic game.
On March 20, you can find a set of free cosmetic items in the game. Their design is made in the style of the unique Dark Odyssey skin from God of War 2, which was given out for completing God Mode. The gifts will include the following items:
- armor and appearance for Kratos in the spirit of Dark Odyssey;
- new styles for weapons and shield;
- new attire and armor for Freya and Atreus.
God of War: Ragnarok will also have a function for changing the appearance of equipment and weapons.
Recall that recently there have been new rumors about remasters of classic God of War games, which have not yet been confirmed. Meanwhile, Santa Monica has published two vacancies hinting at the development of a new game in the series.
