A historical role-playing game with turn-based combat, set during the Second Punic War and the years that follow. The player serves as a Roman soldier, aiming to rise through the ranks and earn prestigious awards—or simply to survive and make it home.
Tasks and skill checks take the character’s strengths and weaknesses into account, while combat is affected by morale, weapon reach, confined spaces and high ground. A character’s death ends that run, but points earned through the achievements of the most successful legionaries can be spent on the next one.
