A 3D air traffic control simulation viewed from an airport tower, where the player coordinates aircraft arrivals and departures at airports based on real-world locations. The task is to monitor ground and airborne traffic, use radar displays, prevent collisions, and direct pilots by issuing commands.
Airport Madness 3D offers several viewpoints, including an aircraft cockpit view, with adjustable tower height and zoom. Each airport has two traffic patterns, and traffic direction and weather conditions can be changed. Multiple play modes are available, while aircraft behavior and sound are designed to reflect real-world aviation.
