Set in Akihabara, Tokyo’s electronics district, this action RPG follows a young man named Nanashi after he is turned into a Synthister, a vampire that feeds on people’s life energy. With the hunter Shizuku and the Akiba Freedom Fighters, he investigates the outbreak and tries to protect the neighborhood.

Fights take place in the streets, where characters wield everyday objects and target opponents’ individual clothing items. Exposed Synthisters perish in sunlight. Players can explore a recreation of Akihabara and use an in-game smartphone to identify the undead and take on quests. Choices affect the story’s progression and lead to different endings.
