Alteil: Horizons is a card strategy game with tactical battles, set in a world where living beings are influenced by the spheres of four ancient gods. Players collect cards and build decks to compete in ranked duels against other players or take on single-player story adventures.
In battle, units are deployed on the field using resources; there are no randomly drawn hands. Units have health, attack, defense, agility, and range stats, and take turns in order of agility. Their action menu offers attacks, movement, rest, and special abilities. Battles are shaped by the day-and-night cycle, Soul Cards that let players adjust their life total, and a Revival system in which extra copies of a unit in the deck act as additional lives for it on the field.
