Angband

Angband — The game takes place in the fortress of Angband, the second citadel of Melkor. The goal of the game is to destroy Morgoth, the lord of darkness. But even after the destruction of Morgoth, the game can be continued, delving further and further into the caves of ancient Angband.

The game begins by choosing a character. You can choose from 11 races (human, half-elf, elf, hobbit, gnome, dwarf, half-orc, half-troll, Dúnedain, high elf and kobold) and 9 classes (warrior, mage, druid, priest, necromancer, paladin, rogue, ranger and black guard). Moreover, the choice of class has a significant impact on the gameplay. After this, the character finds himself in a city with several shops and his own house. In stores, the hero can purchase or sell equipment and magic items. You are allowed to store things in your home. From here begins the advancement to the hundredth level of the dungeons of Angband, where the main character awaits the final battle with Morgoth. From the city the player must go to the dungeon.
