This cooperative action game centers on rescuing hostages from enemy strongholds with bows and arrows. Players can sneak past enemies and take them out one by one or charge into open combat. A team of up to four can play together, with communication key to making it through each mission; a single fatal mistake can send the team back to the beginning.
The campaign comprises 25 levels, while Gladiator mode has players fend off successive waves of enemies and revive fallen teammates when it is safe. Rogue mode sends players into a randomly generated forest to rescue a hostage. In Versus, players compete in four modes: extracting a hostage, holding a key, deathmatch, and a mine-throwing variant of deathmatch. Defeated enemies drop coins that can be spent on in-game unlocks.
