Army of Two

Army of Two — The game begins in Somalia in 1993, when Elliot Salem and Tyson Rios are members of the 75th Ranger Regiment. They are assigned to work with Philip Clyde, a private military contractor from the Security and Strategy Corporation, who must assassinate a powerful local dictator named Abdullahi Moalim. Clyde's overly lenient attitude and behavior disgust Salem and Rios. As a result, Salem and Rios kill Moalim on their own and evacuate without Clyde's help. After this mission, Philip Clyde invites Lieutenant Colonel Richard Dalton (commander of the Ranger squad that includes Salem and Rios) to join his company. Dalton agrees on the condition that he will take Salem and Rios with him as mercenaries, and next year he will receive three passes to the private sector. So Salem and Rios begin their careers as mercenaries.
