Auditorium is a puzzle game centered on a stream of moving particles of light and sound that must be guided into audio containers. The player manipulates different controls to redirect the flow; as containers fill, light turns into sound, and multiple containers begin to play together.

The game offers no instructions, leaving players to explore each level and work out how it functions. Each puzzle can have several solutions, encouraging experimentation with the controls and the flow.
