Avenging Angel

This story-driven first-person shooter with adventure and role-playing elements is set in a post-apocalyptic steampunk world of the Northern City States. The protagonist, a freelance Associate of the Inventors Guild, arrives on an Atlantic island for a routine maintenance job, only to become involved in personal, international, and metaphysical conflicts. As the island is explored, its past, the world’s hidden history, and the protagonist’s place in events come to light.

Players explore locations, fight enemies, and speak with characters to take on quests and discover new areas. Combat allows simultaneous use of melee and projectile weapons, while parts salvaged from defeated foes can be spent on ammunition and special items. Goggle Glass reveal hidden clues and secrets, and both weapons and the glasses can be modified. Potions can be collected or crafted through alchemy; journals, books, and notes provide information about the island and recipes for crafting.
