Battlefield 1943 is a first-person shooter. The game allows you to fight as the United States Marine Corps (USMC) or the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) with support for up to 24 players on two sides. The game features three classic maps: Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima. After the players collectively achieved 43 million kills, the console versions gained access to an additional map — the Coral Sea. There are 3 classes in the game: attack aircraft, engineer, scout. The medic is missing because health regeneration is present. There are also no high-tech weapon upgrades.
