This gothic point-and-click adventure follows a girl who rises from the dead in an abandoned laboratory and investigates the mysteries of her death and reanimation. Her story is connected to Doctor Wolfram von Trauerschloss, who devotes himself to conquering death after the loss of his young child.
The narrative unfolds through extended passages of text inspired in style by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. It explores moral values, the roles of heroes and villains, different forms of horror, and the perspectives of beings beyond life and death.
