A multiplayer platform shooter in which fighters move across maps on foot or through the air, battling opponents with a varied arsenal. Weapons include assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, miniguns, rocket launchers, grenades and a magma thrower; each calls for a different approach and tactics.

Online matches support up to 12 players and take place across more than 15 maps. Modes include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and Destroy the Base. The game also supports matches against bots, cooperative play, rankings and leaderboards.
