An arcade sports game about competing in extreme sports across California. California Games II features five events: hang gliding, jet skiing, snowboarding, bodyboarding and skateboarding. The events take place around the state, including Monterey Bay and the California Aqueduct.
Players can practice each event and compete alone or with others, with support for up to eight players. Competitors earn points according to their placement in each event, and the player with the highest total wins. The game also records the name of the player who sets an event record.
