Crazy car design and damage; successful discoveries of the original are used on the tracks. However, the lack of "evil cruelty" found in the first Carmageddon was negatively noted; instead, the game became brighter and more cheerful: “Pedestrians are three-dimensional, but they don’t even try to pretend to be real people.
