This adventure combines walking-sim elements and puzzles in a story about the love between two young women. Ceress is sentenced to death for loving the oracle Orea, so she calls on an old deity in the hope of overturning the unjust sentence. She awakens in a cave system that turns out to be the deity’s realm, where she must cross the land of the dead and prove herself worthy of returning to the living.
The player explores the surroundings, solves puzzles, and can discover Ceress’ memories. There is no combat, and the linear story leads to a single ending. Ceress’ journey is driven by her hope of reuniting with Orea.
