Championship Manager 2008 is a football management game in which players run a club and compete against other managers on the same computer. Its ProZone tool analyzes key match incidents and the performance of the team and individual players. Match events can be stopped, rewound and replayed to assess the game and prepare the squad for its next fixture.
Players have tendencies that affect their performance during matches, and training can be used to develop new ones. The game features 27 playable nations, including the Australian league, and a database of clubs, players, staff and competitions.
