This anime-style adventure visual novel follows high school student Mairu Hibisu, who wants to start a comedy club at her school. She must recruit new members by the end of April, while her rival, student council president Chitose Karasuyama, tries to make things difficult.

Players explore Cherry Tree Town, meet its residents, and persuade potential recruits to join the club. Mairu builds up her conversational topics by reading books and watching TV; some topics require money, which she can earn through part-time jobs such as cleaning the local temple or making jewelry accessories. Developing these topics provides arguments to use in conversations with prospective club members.
