This adventure horror game follows Claire as she searches for her comatose mother in a world swallowed by darkness. Her dog, Anubis, accompanies her, while unseen threats stalk her from the shadows. Along the way, Claire encounters other people lost in the dark and can choose whether to help them.

Players explore multiple levels, using a flashlight or lighter to navigate and scavenged items to resist fear. A panic system makes the environment more frightening as fear takes hold of Claire. Choices and interactions with others determine the ending, while New Game+ carries over items and increases the difficulty.
