Arcade racing takes place on the streets of Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York, where victory depends on both speed and collisions with rival cars. Players customize their vehicles with paint schemes, wheels, spoilers, new components, reinforced fenders, and nitrous.
Races begin from the back of the grid, and the objective is to reach first place by forcing opponents off the road while avoiding wreckage. Online multiplayer supports up to 16 players, with modes including last-man-standing and bomb tag. Replays can be viewed from multiple cameras positioned around the courses.
