This first-person adventure horror game follows detective Howard Loreid, who is tormented by paranormal events and discovers that his dark past is tied to an approaching madness. His investigation leads him to the dreary town of Arkhamend, a Victorian mansion concealing secrets, and abandoned buildings in snow-covered woods.

Players explore the surroundings, move objects, and solve puzzles, including deciphering dreams and marking important passages in documents. Hints are available across three difficulty modes: Standard, Detective, and Senior Detective.
