A third-person action-adventure inspired by the animated film follows Rapunzel and Flynn as they travel through a kingdom. The pair take on quests and competitive challenges, meet characters and animals, and help each other along the way.

Rapunzel uses her long hair to swing, climb and pull objects. In charm mode she grows flowers, while collecting colors lets her paint the Tower wall; she can also gather sun drops to earn points. Flynn climbs walls, clears obstacles and fights with a sword, while his Flynntuition helps uncover hidden treasures. Working together and collecting items can help the duo complete challenges faster.
