An action platformer based on Disney’s animated film, following Hercules as he faces trials to earn a place among the gods. He battles mythological creatures, defends Thebes from centaurs and harpies, confronts the Titans on Mount Olympus, rescues Meg from the Underworld, and faces the multi-headed Hydra and Hades.
The game features ten stages across three ancient worlds, with several difficulty levels. Hidden areas, Herculade power-ups, and magical weapons appear throughout the stages, while passwords let players resume later. The game also uses character voices and music from the film, along with sequences recreating scenes from it.
