This science-fiction strategy game with adventure elements takes place on the desert planet Arrakis and follows the broad story of Frank Herbert’s novel. The player takes the role of Paul Atreides, tasked with organising spice extraction and forging alliances with the Fremen to oppose House Harkonnen.
Exploration and story events unfold through conversations with characters and travel between settlements and areas of desert. On a top-down map of the planet, the player manages spice production and military forces, and later works to improve the environment. The Fremen can mine spice, join the army, and cultivate their territories.
