This roguelike action RPG sends a hero into dungeons across three worlds filled with enemies and bosses. The dungeons are randomly generated, and players fight their way through them, search for keys to advance, and gather treasure. Each hero has a distinct play style, while collected items, weapons, artifacts, and spells offer different tactical options.

Between dungeon floors, players encounter minigames, text events, and side quests. Some choices and events depend on the selected hero or the items they carry. Unwanted items can be converted into energy to improve spells, and discovered recipes allow players to craft bombs and potions. Trophies and useful finds can also be displayed in a personal home.
