Set amid the warriors of ancient China, Dynasty Warriors Vol. 2 is an action game built around battles across more than 50 stages and 31 maps. Musou mode features branching story paths for each kingdom, while Multiplayer and Free modes offer battles with other players and the option to choose stages freely.
Progress unlocks up to 300 officers, who can also be traded wirelessly with other players. Camp mode provides detailed information about weapons, officers and stages. Players can also keep up to eight horses and elephants; these mounts gain experience in battle and serve as military assets.
