This third-person sci-fi shooter follows Earth Defense Force soldiers defending New Detroit from an invasion of giant insects and aliens. Battles take place across the city, where defeating the attackers can leave entire blocks in ruins.
The arsenal includes more than 300 weapons, such as assault rifles, rocket launchers and sniper rifles. Players can also upgrade four armor types: Jetpack, Battle, Tactical and Trooper. Game modes offer multiple difficulty levels, arcade-style scoring and weapons to collect, while a separate six-player Survival mode pits a squad against successive waves of powerful enemies.
