This vivarium sim is set in a sunless fantasy world where fungi and bugs survive on a slow rain of nutritious substance. EarthTongue gives the player only limited influence over a small ecosystem: life grows and feeds on other organisms, while subtle interventions can help maintain the balance. Goals are left open-ended, from tending the ecosystem’s health or cultivating a fungal garden to breeding beetles as food for mantises, or simply watching the world unfold.
