An open-universe space flight simulation in which pilots manage their spacecraft and choose their own activities and objectives. They can take part in a conflict between human factions, fight an alien threat in designated war zones, or focus on peaceful pursuits such as trading, resource gathering, and exploration.
Players can accept contracts or set their own goals, including transporting cargo, escorting ships, rescuing crews, mining, building stations, and hiring crew members. Ships can be configured for different roles, while jump drives enable travel between distant points. A pilot’s decisions and actions shape their reputation, wealth, progress, and ranking, without a fixed story or predetermined character role.
