This visual novel follows Shishimai Rinka, a high school student who dies in a train explosion while trying to protect her friend, then finds herself back in her everyday life. She soon meets Parca, a girl who claims to be a goddess, and learns that she has become one of twelve participants in Divine Selection, a ritual in which they compete to undo their deaths.
The selection lasts twelve weeks. To eliminate another participant, a player must gather information about their name, cause of death, and regret, then elect them. As Rinka progresses, she uncovers more about her own death and regrets, while confronting the lengths the other participants are willing to go to in order to survive.
