This turn-based military strategy game is set in a realistic world where a field commander faces covert organizations threatening global security. The protagonist serves in the Global Defense League, an independent organization established by the Allied Nations to combat terrorism, genocide, and attempts at global domination. Its main enemy is Shadow Hold, a terrorist organization.
In Field Commander, the player directs operations on land, in the air, and at sea, choosing tactics for offensives and engagements with the enemy. The campaign spans 30 missions set in 3D environments with detailed terrain, and offers 15 army divisions and 11 commanding officers to choose from.
