Firefall is an action game for several players in the MMO genre. An asteroid flew into the solar system from interstellar space. Its path lay in close proximity to the Earth, and as a result of a combination of several factors, the asteroid was destroyed, and its debris entered a descending orbit around our planet. The falling debris continued for several months, causing enormous damage to the entire civilization. This event, called Firefall, threw civilization into a dark period known as the Nine Year Winter. At this time, many states ceased to exist, while others were able to create a new strong alliance.
