This platform game with puzzle elements follows four Buds, guardians of the World-Trees, as they try to stop Dyer from stealing the trees’ sap, the Helys. The story unfolds in Helicia, where the Buds must also free its inhabitants.

Players switch between Flyn, Lyft, Ywok and Nyls, combining their abilities to overcome obstacles. Flyn’s singing affects the environment, Lyft can cling to walls, Ywok inflates and bounces off surfaces, and Nyls propels himself into the air. Across more than forty levels, players redistribute the Helys and interact with the surroundings to make progress.
