Formicide is a multiplayer 2D platformer about teams of ants fighting in destructible arenas. Players choose from eight classes with different playstyles and use their weapons and abilities to battle opponents and capture control points as a team.
Each class can be customized with a choice of ultimate ability. Maps feature power-ups and random events: bombs may rain from the sky, while hunter worms can appear and pursue enemies. The destructible terrain lets players carve paths toward opponents or build dirt barricades for protection.
