Friday the 13th (1989) — action-horror with a side view. Players control one of six camp counselors (each with varying levels of speed, rowing and jumping abilities) from a side-scrolling perspective. The counselors start with a burning arc attack. The goal is to find and defeat Jason Voorhees three times. Along the way, players will find huts, a lake, caves, and wooded areas where all but the huts have enemies such as zombies, crows, and wolves attacking the player. Players can upgrade their weapons by finding new ones.
