This top-down space action game combines elements of classic shooters, action RPGs and open-world space adventures. The player pilots a gunship, fights aliens, pirates and other enemies, completes missions and travels through increasingly challenging solar systems populated by friendly and hostile factions.

Destroying enemies and completing missions earns ranks and credits, which can be spent on upgrading and customizing the ship. Weapons are generated by the cgNEAT algorithm based on usage statistics, with the system developing new variations from those used more often. The game features a single-player campaign, a system-defense mode and multiplayer for up to 32 participants in cooperative or competitive play.
